Nicole Richie Tattoos

Nicole Richie Tattoos

Nicole Richie has several tattoos of her own nine to be exact. Back in 2005 Nicole held the number two spot on a list of the Top 25 Tattooed Celebrities. As you can guess the heavily tattooed but lovely none the less Angelina Jolie came in at number one.

Nicole has lived a very troubled life but she has seemed to have gotten things pulled together since the birth of her daughter Harlow. Nicole is no stranger to the tattoo gun and loves to show off her nine tattoos to the world.

Here's a list of Nicole's Tattoos:

1. Rosary on Her Ankle and Foot
2. Angel Wings on Her Shoulder Blades
3. "Richie" and a Ribbon on the Back of Her Neck
4. Tiara on Her Hip, Not a Spider like some thought
5. Red Shooting Star on the Insider of Her Right Wrist
6. "Virgin" on Her Left Wrist
7. Ballerina Slippers on Her Stomach
8. Cross on Her Lower Back
9. Spray of Dots on an Unknown Finger

However, it seems that Nicole isn't too keen on the idea of Harlow and any other future children wanting to go out and get inked when they became of age. Nicole told Access Hollywood when she was eight months pregnant with baby Harlow she hoped Harlow wouldn't want to get tattoos.

Heidi Klum Tattoos

Heidi Klum Tattoos

I just love this. Every since the Emmy's last weekend people have started to noticed Heidi Klum's tattoo that she has on the inside of her arm. Everyone is making such a big deal about it. I for one think it is great.

The reason people are making such a big deal about it is because Heidi is considered one of the most beautiful models in the world. Thus, for some reason meaning that she can't have tattoos. Well Heidi proved everyone wrong and got one and to be honest I think it looks great. And to all those people out there who think tattoos take away from you beauty look at Heidi and you will see that it absolutely does not.

The truth of the matter is Heidi has had this tattoo for while now. I knew this because I noticed she had it way back in May when she first go it. Heidi doesn't understand what the big deal is about her tattoo but since Sunday she has been asked about it quit a bit.

This is what Heidi said about her interesting abstract type tattoo with three little stars.

"I've had it since May. My husband and I always get married every year. It was our fourth wedding, and we wanted to have our names tattooed together."

"So it's my husband's name and our three children, their initials, in the (three) stars," she added.

I personally think it is great that Heidi is passing it off like it is no big deal and she is right, it isn't. I also think that whatever language she got Seal's name in is very cool.

Victoria Beckham Tattoos

Victoria Beckham Tattoos

Victoria Beckham is a beatifull woman. I like her because she has nice tattoos. It may be a surprise to you, but most folks in Britain have never heard of a baby shower. Baby showers are, of course, quintessentially American, with very, very few taking place in the UK... but that may be about to change. Victoria Beckhamd, England's most glamorous Footballer's Wife, set a new trend last week when she held her own baby shower at the Courthouse Hotel in Soho, central London, which had the celebrity gossip columns buzzing. Danielle's shower may have had the paparazzi snapping, but, at the end of the day, it was a shower like any other, with friends, family and cute gifts for the mom-to-be, and baby, too.

Danielle Lloyd Tattoos

Danielle Lloyd Tattoos

It may be a surprise to you, but most folks in Britain have never heard of a baby shower. Baby showers are, of course, quintessentially American, with very, very few taking place in the UK... but that may be about to change. Danielle Lloyd, England's most glamorous Footballer's Wife, set a new trend last week when she held her own baby shower at the Courthouse Hotel in Soho, central London, which had the celebrity gossip columns buzzing. Danielle's shower may have had the paparazzi snapping, but, at the end of the day, it was a shower like any other, with friends, family and cute gifts for the mom-to-be, and baby, too.

It's probably a safe bet that where Danielle has led, others will follow, and this year may see the UK adopting baby showers for good. This, of course, is great news: it creates jobs and gets suppliers' tills ringing, which, in today's economic climate, is more than welcome. Britain has never been afraid of embracing great American ideas, such as Rock n Roll, Skateboarding, and Trick or Treat, so now may well be the time for a new tradition. If past trends are anything to judge by, then the UK may be on the brink of something big!

Not surprisingly, there are precious few organizers in the UK, so if you are in the UK and might be considering getting into organizing baby showers, then now may well be the time to take the plunge and go for it. Start out by doing a couple of freebies for family or friends - that gives you a Get Out of Jail card if you foul-up - and make sure to ask the mom-to-be and the guests to recommend you to others, if you did a good job of things. Word of mouth will take you further than any other form of advertising. Stay organized and be meticulous. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that it's an easy job, with no effort required. It's demanding work, and you must stay alert and be vigilant at all times. Nobody wants to hire a poor organizer.

Now that the UK has been bitten by the baby shower bug, the British can expect more fun and more celebrating of moms-to-be. And I say it's about time, too!

Amy Winehouse Tattoos

Amy Winehouse Tattoos

Tattoos have increasingly made their way into the mainstream culture as an increasing number of celebrities now openly flaunt their tattoos.

One of the most popular of these celebrities is, of course, Angelina Jolie. Although she is currently best known for her activities on behalf of the United Nations, her marriage to Brad Pitt and her family of multinational adopted children, in past years she was infamous for her body art.

The Oscar-winning actress has more than a dozen tattoos at present, and has not hesitated in past years to have the name of her current love immortalized in ink on her body.

On the other end of the spectrum, as far as respectability goes, is British soul singer Amy Winehouse, whose body is a virtual canvas for the tattoo artist's needle.

Although her album Back in Black was released to critical acclaim and strong sales, in recent years Winehouse has become better known for the shambles her private life has become.

In 2007 she married Blake Fielder-Civil; it was a troubled marriage, to say the least, beset by allegations of spousal abuse, and eventually ended in divorce on 2009.

Winehouse has also struggled with substance abuse, resulting in erratic behavior that has been well-documented by the tabloids.

The Amy Winehouse tattoos that have been listed in various websites include an anchor with the words Hello Sailor on her belly, a singing bird on her lower right arm, the first name of her husband Blake over a picture of a pocket on her left breast, and on various other parts of her body, an angel, a feather, a horseshoe and a lightning bolt.

Most recently she also got an American eagle flying behind an Egyptian ankh tattooed on her upper back between her shoulders.

The sheer amount of body art Winehouse sports has also inspired artists in other media. Artist Andrew Salomone recently showed off an Amy Winehouse tattoo sweater on his blog, on which he embroidered all her tattoos in the correct places.

Salomone expressed the hope that the sweater would allow her to keep warm and maintain her health, while still letting her show off her distinctive body art.

Women Tattoos

Women Tattoos

Tiger tattoos and tattoo designs are always popular and have been there since ages. They find more significance in Celtic and Tribal culture tattoos. If you are looking to get a tiger tattoo done on your body, you have taken a good decision but before getting the art done on your body, you need to understand the significance of it.

Tigers find great significance in Asian culture and are a potent symbol across the continent. The animal has long been a fixture in indigenous tattoo art of countries like Thailand, Myanmar, India, Cambodia, China, Malaysia, Japan and alike. The animal is associated with passion, ferocity, power, comfort, sensuality, speed, beauty, vigor, wrath and also cruelty. They have believed that appearance of Tiger in your dream means a kind of new passion or power awakening within you.

In the Asian countries the tiger has always been a favorite animal for tattoos and tattoo designs. Slowly the animal also found significance in other tattoo culture and especially the West encompassed it into a wonderful tattoo art form. Thanks to indigenous designs and ideas of tattoo artists who create variety and flexibility of tiger tattoos. However the choice to imprint the tattoo and get it designed solely remains with you. The armband tiger tattoos are very popular because they are easy to flaunt and you can easily get them done without much difficulty.

Significance of Tiger Tattoos and Tattoo designs

Literally speaking there is no end to ideas for tattoo art because of the love for people for diversified tattoos. From flowers, letters to animals and birds almost all things find significance in tattoo design and arts. And that is the reason the tattoo art is the most flexible and most profoundly overflowing art form for body art. And hence are the Tiger Tattoos.

In Asia the tiger is associated with might of kings and power which is a position similar to Lion tattoos and designs that are accepted in European Countries and Middle East. Though it is a symbol of predator but the tiger has some greater significance than being simply a predator. For instance in Indian Culture the Tiger is often seen as savior of good from the evil, a destroyer of bad as the Hindu Goddess rides on it to kill the Evil Power and save the world and heaven from the Rakshasas. It is also seen as power of god Shiva as he rides on tiger or sits on tiger skin.

In Korean culture Tiger is considered the King of all animals and hence they find greater significance in this culture. Many Korean tattoos and designs are with the tiger showed in different positions. The tiger cubs also find importance with the tiger tattoos. Though it is usually seen as a power of strength, destruction and violence, yet the tiger can be a symbol of continuity of life, the law of nature where it makes a balance of ecosystem and a part of it.

Its destructive power is seen against the evil powers. In Chinese culture the tiger images are used as symbols of charms because it is believed that such charms would ward off evil from the home or other places. That's why you find stone tiger images often used outside home as protective guards to ward off the evil omens and spirits. It is believed that during the rule of Chou dynasty, the images of tigers were hung in the room of the pregnant lady to protect the unborn baby from evil spirits. They are thought as punisher of sinners in the name of a supreme being.

It is also believed that the Na-hsi tribe of Tibet has been descendants of tigers and that's why the Na-hsi tigers are gifted to new born children as well as those who are newly married. Such is the significance of the tigers in tattoo art and culture.

Dragon Tattoo Designs - Get Ready For Dragon Skin Art

Dragon Tattoo Designs - Get Ready For Dragon Skin Art

Dragons are legendary creatures being featured in myths of several countries like China and Japan. As you watch movies, you'll notice that dragons usually breathe fire. That is why these creatures truly symbolize fierce and power. However, some people have adapted dragons as part of their tradition. But then, instead of believing in their tradition, images of dragons have been popular for many tattoo artists since then. Try to visit kiosks and beaches and you'll find various dragon tattoo designs that might persuade you to get inked.

Dragon tattoos are common to men. These designs truly fit on their taste. In some cases, they prepared to get inked simply because they want to add appeal to their body. However, for a person who's not fond of dragons, you may find it weird. Who don't want dragons? Well, in fact almost individuals of different ages are fond of dragoon tattoo designs, even teens and children.

You may think they're classified based from the country that they were originated from yet all of them have different virtue like humans.

Tattoos are great options to express one's fashion. And would you believe that your personality depends on how you choose dragon tattoo designs? Believe it or not, these designs are not equal. Regardless of size, they're made up of several shapes and styles that can give life to the dragon figure.

Dragon tattoo designs are not just for men for also for women. If men get inked because they want to look brave, women also get tattooed and become hot. As you wish, you can decide in what part of the body you want to have a dragon tattoo. Usually tattoos are placed in the shoulder. It's because this part is used by both men and women. Tattoo In The Rihanna Body

Tattoo In The Rihanna Body

Tattoos have become a fashion trend so popular these days that a lot of people wishes to have one type of tattoo drawn on their skin.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty is a Barbadian-American recording artist, model and former beauty queen.
Rihanna's tattoos have drawn so much media attention. She has a total of twelve known tattoos, including a music note tattoo on her ankle, a Pisces sign behind her right ear, a Sanskrit prayer going down her hip, a star in her left ear, the word "love" on her left middle finger, an Arabic phrase on her ribcage area, meaning "Freedom is God", a trail of stars going down the back of her neck, a skull with a pink hair bow, the phrase 'shhh...' on her right index finger, the date '11.4.86′ on top of her left shoulder and a henna-style dragon claw, complete with Hawaiian hibiscus flowers. Her most recent gun tattoo was planned to be just below her shoulders but changed it to her ribcage. Although, she was likely to be criticised for her tattoo, BangBang, the tattoo artist, was quick to explain that the image simply "represents strength and power".

At the American Music Awards on Sunday night November, 22, 2009 Robyn Rihanna Fenty showed enough skin to reveal her neck tattoos to her fans. The Sunday night's live show on American Music Awards is bringing more and more interesting and entertaining news for music lovers.

When the famous Barbadian-American recording artist from Saint Michael (Barbados) Robyn Rihanna Fenty appeared on the stage to perform, her tattoos grabbed both the media as well as public attention. Way back in April 2008, since there was a lot of talk about Rihanna's neck tattoos already, the audiences and the viewers at home were pretty keen to have a closer look on the same.

Rihanna talked about her style, explaining why she gets tattoos. "I don't plan my tattoos. It's always something that I love," she said. She is very choosy about her tattoos and she doesn't draw big and ambiguous tattoos but she loves to draw decent tattoos.

Tattoos, she had on her body are not for sex appeal but just for fashion. She admitted that tattoos are like addiction for her. She is so inspired by the tattoos that she always remains in search of interesting and symbolic tattoos.

Lindsay Lohan Tattoos

Lindsay Lohan Tattoos

The trouble child star can't really seem to catch a break now a days and several people are just waiting for her to have another melt down. Well since Lindsay and her girlfriend of nearly two years broke up Lindsay thought it would be appropriate to make the occasion with some fresh ink. It is being reported that Lindsay along with her younger sister, Ali Lohan walked into Shamrock Social Club tattoo parlor in Los Angeles at around midnight on April 8, 2009. Lindsay and Ali emerged a little later and word on the street is that Lindsay got some fresh ink on her wrist. However, the design that she got has not been released yet. This is the same tattoo parlor Lindsay and her new BFF Lily Allen go their matching Shhh... tattoos.

If you recall Lindsay Lohan also has a tattoo a matching tattoo with old girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Linsday has a small little red star on her hand. It's nothing to noticeable or wild and crazy but Lindsay has been open about the reason she got this tattoo. Which is for all the wrong reasons. Lindsay got this tattoo because Samantha has several star tattoos on her arm and she wanted to get it to get like her.

This is yet another prime example of not getting making tattoos of a lover or coping a lover's tattoo. Tattoos are forever and unfortunately most relationships are not. However, if you must get a tattoo to mark your relationship with someone it is best to get some kind of imaginary tattoo done rather than a name.

Celebrity Tattoos

Celebrity Tattoos

There are some pretty cool celebrity tattoos out there that you might want to consider getting inked if you're looking for tattoo design ideas. Generally celebrity tattoos can be cheesy choices, but there are some exceptions.

1. Bob Marley tattoo (Mark Wahlberg)
If you're a Marley fan, then a Marley tat may be for you. Marley's music is amazing and inspiring. Mark Wahlberg has a Marley tattoo on his shoulder.

2. Child's name or Child's design (Johnny Depp)
Tattooing your child's name can be a great idea for a tattoo. Johnny Depp has his sons name "Jack" tattooed on his arm. Also, consider a favorite design or doodle that your son or daughter has made. This can be a very personal symbol, representing the your child. A few celebrities have tattoo doodles done by their children.

3. Cross Tattoos (Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, and more)
Many celebrity tattoos are of crosses. This is a great consideration and can have strong meaning, with different variations. For example, your cross can be part of a necklace tattoo, sizes can vary greatly from extremely large, to very small, and colors can range from completely colored in (like Angelina Jolie's) or just a cross outline.

4. Cobra on Stomach (Snake Plisken played by Kurt Russell)
Well, this isn't an actual tattoo from a celebrity, rather a celebrity wears this tattoo as part of his character in a movie. In this case it is Kurt Russell playing the character of Snake Plisken. Snake is known for his intense cobra tattoo on his stomach. This is actually a great tattoo design to consider as it can work as both movie appreciation and nostalgia, yet its also a pretty hardcore tat design!

David Beckham Tattoos

David Beckham Tattoos

David Beckham is a well known soccer player who recently made the move from the United Kingdom to Los Angeles. A family man with a wife and three children, he likes to tell the story of his life by the tattoos he wears on his athletic body. He is well known for the large number of tattoos he wears. He actually has had all of them done by a tattoo artist in Manchester, England. This well known illustrator, who has gone to other countries to follow Beckham and do the work for him, is famous for his ability to respect the privacy of his clients as much as for his great artistic ability. The David Beckham tattoos show his history, particularly that of his family.

The David Beckham tattoos that are the most famous--though not necessarily the largest--are the ones that represent his family. He has had the name of each of his children tattooed somewhere on his back to mark their births. The name of his first born, Brooklyn, is on his lower back. His second son, Romeo, had his name tattooed slightly below the base of Beckham's neck and Cruz, his youngest son, has his name just below the guardian angel that sits on the upper half of Beckham's back. The guardian angel is there to look after his sons.

The other David Beckham tattoos that can be seen are his wife's name, which is tattooed in Hindi on his left forearm. One of the questions that this has caused is how wise is it to use a language that is not your own when writing on your body. This came up when someone claimed that the name is spelled wrong on his arm. Under that tattoo is a phrase in Latin that means "so that I love and cherish." He also has a roman numeral on his right arm that stands for the number seven, which was the number he wore when he was still playing for Manchester. Directly under that he has another Latin phrase. This one means "spiritual perfection." In this last year, he has added some sleeve work as well as another phrase in Latin. Many of his fans, and his detractors, feel that these tattoos take away from his appearance, but others say as long as he plays well, who cares how he chooses to express himself?
